Fairy family
I was really in a pink mode.
and very full of embelishments. Flowers from prima and vintage silks, spritzed with glimmer mist, that I found at a yardsale. Antique lace, dew drops and lots of chalk ink. I used glossy accents to get the wet look for the wings and the rain drops.

last cook, well, for a while anyway
have nothing in your house that you do not find to be useful, or believe to be beautiful
I promise I only made so many because once I got started, everyone wanted one. You know the drill. Promise I will do something else, maybe, unless someone else asks for one.

Happiness....with a tan
this one is special. I re-purposed a vintage button from my momma's stash. I found the earing flowers at a yardsale. I love to use old, interesting items in my cards. I have to have tons of dimention too. This is a digi from Michelle Perkett. Copics of course. I will have the not so tan version in a few days, come back and check her out.

fairy momma
I love this momma fairy with her baby
I wish I could tell you where she came from. I think it is Michelle Purdett, but I'm not sure and way to lazy to try and figure it out. Can someone help me out??? Sorry.
This has lots of embelishments. Felt, flowers, bling, dew drops, and even a vintage earing.

clean house...
Our house is clean enough to be healty, and dirty enough to be happy.
That is our house, huh? I have done this chef again. I had to do one for my blonde girls. Don't worry I have one more coming. Victoria Case, Copics, and buttons from the quilt store. I find some of the most interesting things at the quilt store.

Kiss the Cook
I think every woman should get kisses on the back of the neck while cooking. Right?
I love my Copics they make me feel like such and artist, ha ha. These bombshells are some of my favorite girlies to color. This one is from Victoria Case. The digital designs are great because they can be any size you want. This card is a 5x7. What do you thing about bombshells?

Midnight Madness 8

I make this little get well/pick him up card using another one ov Victoria Case great digi stamps. Doesn't every guy have a naughty nurse thought at one time??? Well, she is sure to raise his temperature. Sooooooooo sassy. Click on her name to check out her site& tell her who sent ya!
I used my Copics again. I even used them to color the the piece of ribbon under the phrase. I did'nt have a thing to match. I know I should be ashamed of myself, I should have ribbon of every color. Here is a very thrift trick, You never thought you'd hear me say thrifty, huh?Copics color everyting, so if you don't have a matching embelishment, color a white or cream one to match perfectly.

MIDNIGHT MADNESS #5 LATE

This one is a week late but I wanted to share it with you. I had such a good time making it. I enjoy these challenges because we have such a diverse group. I know I keep saying that but, they really challence me to try new things and expand my creativity. I use some classic clip art and my Copics. I even used the air brush attachment to color the feathers. It is so much fun. If anyone is offering classes in your area, you need to try it. If you happen to be in my area, let me know we will get together.
Have a great day everyone.

Copic info
I really do find the Copics easy to use. It maybe it is because I spend a lot of time with my colored pencils & mineral spirits, blending until my fingers are numb. The fumes may have gotten to me.
I will be taking the Copic certification class at the end of the month. I can't wait to put that little button on this blog. I am going to Chino for the class. I had no luck convincing them to come to Vegas for me.
Really the only lessons I've had with them are on the web. I kind of took what I thought was the best of all of them and then gave it a shot. I need to tweak a few things. I really like mu first attempt-the blue bombshell. It did take about 2 hours. Not bad for a first try. Not good when my hubby pointed out it will probably sell for $5 on eBay this week. I don't sell them to make $$$$ just to justify my craft addiction. You know if I make $5, I feel perfectly justified in spending $20.
Speaking of price, I know they are expensive. I have to have the brush tipped sketch, they are refillable, your can air brush with them and they color on anything. I couldn't ask for more. Well except if they could put theselves away when I finish with them.
I addicted to Marianne and all the other Copic Diva's tutorials. My idol and paper craft goddess, Lauren Meader, has a different take on them. I like her easy going have fun with is style. I also read everything from Ellen Hutson's and her faboo design team.
