Its that time again Midnight Madness #21

I got a little carried away with this sketch. I made into a 12x12 scrapbook page. It just seemed like the perfect sketch. I have actually bene inspired to make 3 more lay outs based on this sketch. Some times you just get on a roll. Check back later this week for the rest of the pages.

Midnight Madness #20 and it's my Birthday

Hey Midnight madness Design team is in rare form this week. Wow those are some beautiful cards.

Mine is made using the most unique stamp from DRS. It is called stained glass. They have many more shapes and sizes. I will definately be doing a tutorial on this one in the near future. I stamped the stained glass in black ink and stamped an other stamp on top (I did the butterfly in grey for more contrast). I colored with Copics, higlighted they butterfly, also DRS, with glossy accents and here ya go.

It is my birthday today so my family has grounded me from the computer. Have a great day eveyone. Smile, 'cause its my birthday, its my birthday.

Midnighe Madness 18 in purple again

I just can't get enough purple. This terrific stamp from DRS is a frame stamp the has 7 frames all in one stamp. I stamped & embossed the frame on 4 different colors of purple, then cut and layered them up. I will get some more pictures up this week, so you can see all of the embossing. I make this little get well/pick him up card using another one ov Victoria Case great digi stamps. Doesn't every guy have a naughty nurse thought at one time??? Well, she is sure to raise his temperature. Sooooooooo sassy. Click on her name to check out her site& tell her who sent ya!

I used my Copics again. I even used them to color the the piece of ribbon under the phrase. I did'nt have a thing to match. I know I should be ashamed of myself, I should have ribbon of every color. Here is a very thrift trick, You never thought you'd hear me say thrifty, huh?Copics color everyting, so if you don't have a matching embelishment, color a white or cream one to match perfectly.

It is time for Midnight Madness

Here it is. The newest Midnight Madness challenge. This is such a fun way to use up stuff you have. It is so nice to follow a recipe. I used some regular clip art from microsoft and my Copics. Cute little sprit, huh?

I was MIA last week. My daddy ended up having open heart Surgery that Friday. I was juggling lots of things and that is the ball that dropped. I did make the card, Just didn't get a chance to post it. I will post it this week anlong with the blog candy at the end of the week. Sorry for the delay. I know you understand. Daddy was sent home on Friday, just in time to spend the weekend at home. He is tired but doing well. Thanks for the kind thoughts and prayers.

For this card I used acrylic for the base. American Crafts Travel for the paper and rub ons. The compass is from Cricuit's my world cartridge. Cute, huh?

My contribution this week uses another one of those shoe stamps I love. You can never have enough shoes, just ask my 5yo Samantha. We are both shoe collectors. Lots of lace, vintage buttons and beads, stolen from momma. I used my Copics. Those are a must try.
